I've been using this bar twice a week for about a year and a half now, and I love (nearly) everything about it.
- It's solid as a rock
- It has narrow handles that put the weight on my traps/collarbone instead of sitting on top of my shoulders like some other SSBs.
- It doesn't pitch you forward like most other SSBs, it's more neutral. Not quite a back squat, but not close to a front squat.
- Despite not pitching you forward much, it still stays firmly on your back even without holding it. Great for Lunges, Bulgarian Split Squats, Hatfield Squats, etc.
The only thing I don't like about it is that the pads are not connected, and they tend to separate during use.
Going above 180kg usually leaves bruises on my shoulders because the back pad and the handle pads compress and leave a little bit of bare bar pressing against my skin.
If this bar had a one-piece pad design, it would be the perfect SSB. As of today, it's already the best value SSB.
