You may have already seen people in the gym using some sort of mouthguard. Here’s why. When lifting, tension is created nearly everywhere in the body. This can also mean a lot of pressure on the teeth by clenching. A mouthpiece can be used to convert that tension to enhance the power output of non-contact physical sports, plus it helps take strain from the teeth. It is designed to instantly stabilize 5 dimensions of your jaw: anterior & posterior, protrusive, pitch, yaw, and roll. DS stands for dimensional stabilizer and enhances the top-down body performance.

Comfortable and hygienic use

The 5DS mouthpiece rests on the teeth in the lower jaw and is ideal for strength athletes like powerlifters, strong(wo)men and weightlifters. Unlike a full mouthguard, the front part remains free to enable easy breathing, drinking and talking while wearing it. Therefore the design allows you to do your workout without having to constantly take it out, which could be challenging in a gym environment. This makes it a comfortable and hygienic choice. The missing front part also spares the front teeth from unnecessary pressure. 

For best power output, replace the mouthpiece after 80 hours of use, or roundabout every three months.
